Amet Haveli - A Heritage Hotel Udaipur, Udaipur

I couldn't extend my stay due to a wedding, but the room I had with lakeside views directly opposite the lake palace was delightful. However, some areas of the property were in poor shape.

I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel, directly opposite the lake palace, offering a great view and a lovely and comfortable room in a good ground floor corner location right on the lake. The views were amazing, although the experience was just okay at times. The service was excellent with staff being cooperative and even waking up to assist us at 1 am. The location was perfect at the lakeside, walking distance to most attractions in Udaipur although tuktuk might be needed to reach the hotel sometimes. The dining experience was relaxing with a buffet I enjoyed, but it was not the best on my tour. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks.

The hotel offers stunning views of the City Palace and two ghats, featuring a mix of traditional Rajasthani decor and modern amenities. The service is exceptional with a delightful breakfast spread and extremely friendly staff. The location, although difficult to reach due to narrow lanes, provides a fantastic glimpse of Udaipur's charm. Dining experiences vary from adequate to pricey, but the best views in town make up for it.

The service was a mix of being fairly unmotivated in some areas but very friendly and helpful in others. The location was simply awesome with easy access to the old town, although it could be a bit challenging due to the bustling activity around. The dining experience had its highs and lows, ranging from a very relaxing buffet with made-to-order options to limited choices with average taste. Overall, the facilities were well-maintained and offered a comfortable stay.

The hotel offers comfortable rooms with a large balcony providing an excellent view of Indian life all around. It carries a great historic atmosphere. The service, although generally good, lacked in the administration and restaurant areas. The location, right next to Lake Pichola with a view of Udaipur Palace & Lake Palace, is the standout feature, making it a healing and accessible spot. The dining experience, overlooking the lake and Lake Palace, was pleasing with a relaxing buffet, though some improvements are needed. The facilities are adequate for a comfortable stay.
